I currently live in Canada and I used to wonder what I wanted to do with my life, work specifically. I always enjoyed writing but never had the stamina to actually sit down and write a novel. Poems, short stories, random thoughts; those were easy. But a novel? Oh boy. Then one day I decided to sit my butt down and just let my fingers go. Next thing I knew a page was filled, then a second, and before I knew it - I had a novel!
Now, that novel is stored somewhere and will probably never be seen by anyone other than my wife, but still. I never felt as alive as I did when scenes were coming together, when characters would find a way to overcome a problem and I found myself thinking "Wow, where did that come from?"
It was really at that moment that I got serious about it, and realized what I truly wanted to do. Write, write, and more writing. So that's what I do everyday for a few hours before heading off to work, and you know what? I've never been happier :).
Orc tribes have united under one rule for the first time in generations. While the reclusive Icarri elves turn a blind eye on the world's affairs, only Kel'Atar Malavir has the courage to leave his homeland and stand with his new battle-forged allies against the tides of war.
